QC History — Charlotte, NC

• Founded QC History, a digital-history organization making Charlotte's past freely accessible online, incorporated as a North Carolina nonprofit with a four-member board.
• Built and launched QC Search, a free public research tool searching more than 9,000 Charlotte-Mecklenburg historical sources, including a union catalogue spanning eight local archives and institutions.
• Digitized 50+ reels of WBTV news film and published them through an interactive map of Charlotte history at maps.qchistory.com.

Charlotte Museum of History — Charlotte, NC

• Led historical interpretation as the museum's lead historian — interpreting the 1774 Homesite, restoring a 1920s Rosenwald-era schoolhouse, and curating temporary and permanent gallery displays.
• Curated the Meck Dec 250 exhibit, winner of Queen City Nerve's "Best in the Nest" award for Historic Exhibits in Charlotte.
• Planned large cultural festivals, managed the transition to a new website and ticketing system, and secured exhibit partnerships with organizations from the Charlotte Hornets to Opera Carolina.
• Led an effort to re-survey the 1774 Homesite for evidence of enslaved people.
• Contributed to the museum winning the American Alliance of Museums' Museum Impact Award in 2025. Exhibits Manager since January 2023; previously Adult Education Specialist (May–December 2022).

Rocky Mountain National Park

• Interpreted environmental history as a seasonal interpretation ranger.
• Wrote articles and ran social media for the Rocky Mountain Conservancy.
