Digitization & digital projects

Bringing the archive online

Much of my work happens on the web — digitizing collections, mapping the city, and building tools that make history easier to reach.

QC History

QC History is my digital history project making Charlotte's past accessible online. It digitizes archival collections, maps the city's history, and publishes nearly 10,000 sources in one searchable place — a one-person effort to keep the Queen City's record open to everyone.

Other things I've built

Personal software projects

Side projects outside of history — things I've built to learn, solve a problem, or scratch an itch.

Web app

TripBrain

A travel-planning app that keeps itineraries, expenses, packing lists, and tickets in one workspace, with an assistant that files everything for you.
